Some cruel irony here.

Daniel Theis was the player of the game yet Robert Williams made him look expendable.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

theis is staying a celtic

Hey don't get me wrong. I love Vanilla Theis.

It's just we've got Horford, Baynes, and a promising big in Williams.

There's no room for him, and if you ask me, he's playing well enough to earn a much fatter contract this summer.

Nice to have both!
Williams has a ways to go before he's as versatile on offense as Theis.

Alright, time to throw out some TP's to you gorgeous people.

Thanks for hanging out!
You might be our lucky charm!
We'll find out in a couple days. I won't be around for the next vs Pistons game :]

Regardless, gotta say it was fun hanging out here again after such a long time away from the game. Gonna be here more often for sure.

You're all legends.

Get Kyrie and Hayward straightened out and we'll be tough to beat. The question is can we count on the bench to this degree every game until then.

probably not some will have to pick up the others certain nights

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

agreed. theis is a way better outside shooter for now. but it will be fun to watch williams develop as a player.
looking forward to seeing him develop into a real contributor, possibly as soon as next season.  anything from him this year is just gravy

Seriously. Every block or great defensive position William's has is just icing on the cake. His entire developed is to gain on his current athletic dominance.

Fantastic win that shows we can do it without our top guys having big stat lines. Good to see kyrie being unselfish and not worrying about padding his numbers instead trying to get other people into the game

if we have theis and baynes blocking shots down low and if RW can close out and block some 3's.... that changes the game.  hey try a 3 on us. we will block it!

I said it earlier.  Williams could learn a lot from Theis.  That's how he needs to play.

Absolutely - I might even grow to hate the guy less if he does this more.

Just enjoying this feeling tonite after being in panic mode the last few weeks. Feels so good to play well and win. Now, if my Vols can't quit beating themselves and make a couple of tackles on defense, maybe I can have an overall nice evening. Add a little Crown and a smooth Pleiades for a perfect ending.

Let's be realistic about Williams. He looked great tonight but he is extremely raw and played in garbage time versus most of Detroit's bench. Yeah, the potential is there but Theis showed tonight he is just a much better player than Williams and probably will be next year as well.
