Defensively they're not even trying.

Looks like Young's gonna get some burn.

Rondo just has some awful body language tonight. Like he'd rather be playing Connect 4 or something.

Yeah, I'm really starting to question whether or not I want Rondo here long-term. I think I just prefer Smart there.

1.  If Stevens doesn't take the green light away from some players to shoot the three, he's an idiot.

2.  Rondo is slowly convincing me that he needs to go.  His game is so fundamentally flawed that he could get really old and really bad really quickly.

3.  A lot of the bad defense is on the players but this does not look like a team that's well coached on that side of the ball.

4.  Boston has had a brutal schedule so far and no one should overreact.  But this team needs to win some of these winnable games that will eventually show up on the schedule.

Celtics played well tonight. The tank is preserved and Rondo is still looking every bit like a role player. Rondo is not a star player in the NBA. I'm hoping Ainge trades him quick. Nice win for the tank though!

You can tell what Rondo you'll get after a few minutes of watching. His energy is sometimes simply not there and you can see the entire team follow his lead when it happens.

Methinks he shows he might prefer to be elsewhere. He is putting piling up empty stats and is careless in defense. Hope I prove wrong, but he does not look motivated.
As for talent, there is no doubt IMO he has enough to keep him in the elite of NBA guards for the next 4-5 years no problem. The real issue is motivation in a rebuilding team.

Rondo had a terrible game.   But he isn't a role player.  Has there been  a role player in NBA history who averaged 10/8/12 over  a 10 game period?    Rondo will look great next game and the Rondo supporters will be out of the shadows again.
