Kwhit sends John Henson
Utah Flash sends Jason Smith, 2013 1st rounder, and Birdmans 2013 2nd rounder

I like Henson and I don't mind waiting a while for him to get some PT. In the long run, talent wins out over contracts. Or that's what I am going to tell myself when Skiles is playing Gooden and Dunleavy each 38 minutes per game.

Trade to announce:

Juggernauts trade Kendall Marshall and 2013 2nd round pick
Kwhit10 trades Royce White

Ouch - there is the pain of missing the draft.  [regardless of peoples value of the actual players]  Juggernauts gives up the 13th pick AND a 2nd round pick next year for the 16th pick. 

That being said, I like Royce White's ceiling more than Marshall's, though I suspect Marshall will have a better year this year then White will.

Yeah, I did a double-take, to be sure I was seeing that right.

And I also like White more than Marshall. Although, what do I know?

I think Marshall will be a solid PG in the real NBA, but his scoring ability makes Jason Kidd look like Allen Iverson.  That's a pretty big issue in this format.

I am very high on White and hope that he makes it worth it.  I think with Phoenix adding Dragic I don't think Marshall is going to see a lot of court time for a few seasons if he stays there.  I think Royce White has a higher ceiling and maybe make an immediate impact if he can carve out some time in the rotation.

Brewer and Ezeli were both below my cut line, so this boiled down to Shumpert for Smith on my end.  TB had room for all of them so the math's a little different for him.

It was a tough decision - I love me some Shump-Shump, but Smith is still just 27 and is gonna be a primary scorer for the Knicks, especially if Amar'e continues to regress.  And he's in a contract year.  Chuck away JR!

yea, I have no chance of contending this year, so I can wait on Shumpert to recover and develop, and the other 2 guys help fill out my roster, but yes, JR is a big time chucker in a contract year on a high scoring system, you can't go wrong with that in fantasy bball. Just like Glen Davis, they will put up the numbers!
