Another huge game, BOS @ SAC tonight, for Clips and Sac picks

7. Clippers 37-29
8. Spurs 36-29
9. Kings 32-31

Looks like Clips were 4-0 vs. SAC this season  :o

Starting to look very likely now that the Kings Pick is lottery and Clips pick will convey THIS year  ;D

We'll likely have the 14th, 18th or 19th, and the 24th to 26th picks in this draft and a future first from a rebuilding Memphis team.  Not what I was hoping for going into the season, but not bad.  That Memphis pick should be valuable.

Good trade ammo for moving up in the draft, or to trade for AD.

update for this week

Standings as of 3/7/19

Memphis pick --  #6 --  (protected top 8 )
Games Behind    Current Wins   Games Left   Last 10
Memphis               ---                     26                   16              4-6
Washington          +2                     27                   18              5-5
Dallas                    +2                     27                    18             2-8

--> Memphis settling into the #6 slot even further as the season progresses.   almost a lock for that slot now.

Kings pick -- #14 -- (protected if top 1 - becomes Sixer pick if #1)
Games Behind    Current Wins     Games Left    Last 10
LA Lakers                 2.5                    30                     17                 2-8
MInnesota                2.5                    30                     17                 5-5
Sacramento             ---                     32                     18                 4-6

-> Kings still fighting to make the playoffs.  they're keeping their distance from all the other non-playoff teams in the West.

looking like a lock for #14.

Clipper Pick #18 tied with San Antonio  --  (protected  top 14)
Games Behind    Current Wins     Games Left    Last 10
San Antonio              ---                     37                      16                 5-5
LA Clippers              ---                     37                      16                 7-3
Utah                         +1                     37                      18                 7-3

-->  Clips  bunching up with SAS and Utah in the West.  Pick looks like it'll be between 18-20 this year and should convey

Boston Pick --  #21
Games Behind    Current Wins     Games Left    Last 10
Boston                 ---                      40                      16                5-5
Houston               ---                      39                      18                7-3
Portland               ---                      39                      18                6-4
OKC                      ---                      39                      18                4-6

-->C's pick continues to drop another spot based on win percentage but in a virtual tie with 3 other teams.   a hot or cold

streak by the C's could impact the pick by several spots.   Barring a really bad losing streak, the pick doesn't look to be falling

lower than 21.  A strong close to the season could see the pick slide to 23 or 22 if they catch Indy and Philly in the East

Second Rounders:
Boston (protected 31-55)

Second rounders
Boston - #51
looking like a safe bet they aren't losing this pick this year

Cant say I am ecstatic with the Kings pick but I guess something is better then nothing. I did do the Tankathon simulation last night and the funniest was Celtics picking 2nd with Memphis sliding down 3 spots to 9. Can you imagine if that miracle happened, we would fill up the ER with Celtics fans having heart attacks! That sim was hilarious as Cavs ended up 8th, Knicks 6th....

Clippers won last night!! 15 games away from potentially turning #31 and #35 into a late teens pick, one that LAC sent MEM for Jeff Green...

If maybe 2 of Brown, Tatum, Smart ( :-[) get traded away for AD, at least we can replenish our wing stock nicely. Lots of good mid-first wings in this draft.

Hope Cam Reddish slides to #9!!

Sadly, Memphis is turning into one of those teams that loses some of their best players and goes on an inexplicable winning streak, a la Indy this year and the Celtics last year.

Getting a Brogdan type late first rounder would be nice.

I love Terry but I'm not sure he belongs on this team.

Coby White is a very good mid first round prospect.  He’s a 6’4 combo guard who plays good team ball but has a scoring mentality.  He is very quick attacking the rim and is a good three point shooter.

If we keep all the picks, I’m hoping for Jaxson Hayes at 11-13, and Coby White and Kevin Porter jr. with the other two picks (18 and 23).

I like Coby White too and we need a shooting guard.

how so?  if we trade for AD, every one of the picks I'm tracking are going in that same trade.  don't be surprised if the second rounder goes out the door too

Maybe the Pelicans can send us a small-forward with Anthony Davis. We would need an actual SF once Tatum and Brown are gone. Ojeleye is a good 3rd stringer lol.

We still have Hayward.

Hayward is a SF.

After today's win over Orlando, Memphis is now at the #8 spot of the lottery.

This will be close.

Memphis wants the pick to convey this year.
