I get wiEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.l when I look at all the size Indiana has.  It feels like the Celtics have been playing small ball for 10 years.  When a team plays small or has a power forward who rebounds like a guard, the trade off is supposed to be better long-range shooting, improved defensive range, superior passing but nope, the Celtics got none of that.  Splendid.

Even if it was possible for the Celtics to pay Bass' entire salary to play somewhere, I don't think the Spurs would take him.

No Sullinger.

Darko was a mistake...on Doc or Danny's part. Probably Danny.

Didn't the Spurs try to sign Bass in the past?

I don't think so.  I'd be very surprised if they did.  For as long as I can remember, their role players  have had high basketball IQs and/or been able to shoot from threes.  Bass couldn't be further from a Spurs type player.

Indiana's bigs have been great. West is scoring so efficiently through a smattering of outside jumpers and beasting on the offensive boards.  And Hibbert's been a force on defense and the offensive boards.  Even Hansbrough's been really good.

DJ Augustin has just become one of my favorite players.  I mean flopping against the Extraordinary League of Floppers?  Yes, yes yes!

Am I the only one here who likes Tyler Hansbrough's rough physical and ultra effort play?

There was some talk last summer that the Spurs had some interest in Bass as an upgrade on Dejuan Blair, but that they would have had to work out a sign-and-trade to make that happen.

DJ Augustin has just become one of my least favorite players.  He couldn't be more flat-footed on defense in not rotating to Bosh.  Yes DJ, let Hibbert defend 2-on-1 even though you're a foot away.
