Let's just first assume this is true and not mis/disinformation.

I think I'd agree with all your guys, though IMO Huerter needs a great workout the most.

I'd also venture to guess Okogie, Melton or Milton, and Metu from USC maybe (though idk much about him) and a reach or two... Zaire Smith and Troy Brown come to mind.

These guys may be 2nd round candidates but could move up to 27. Would love to trade down and get two guys.

I think we can cross off Huerter since he most likely has a promise from a team in the middle of the draft (rumor is that it is ATL at 19).

I think Okogie and Okobo are definitely in the mix tho.

Why base strictly off work outs? I doubt Celts are restricting their 10 list to that requirement. Why should we?

I forgot Okogie from the list

If the Cs have 10 players they are targeting in the first round I think it’s a safe assumption that includes in that 10 are players who they have brought to Aniston to merit with and workout.

Reaaallly like Jerome Robinson. His defense needs a little work, but not a lot. His super solid shooting is the thing that really grabs me. He made a ton of threes from NBA range

Great scouting page here: https://basketballscouting.wordpress.com/tag/jerome-robinson/

Can never have too many guys in the second unit who can create of the dribble. Especially if Marcus is brought back.

He looks like the perfect guy to be put next to Smart tbh

I have a question, does anyone know the last time the Celtics drafted someone who hadn't worked out for them?

I don't think he'll be on the board by the time Boston picks, but if Mitchell Robinson is somehow still available I feel like his potential upside is too good to pass up.

Otherwise, I'm not really a fan of any of the other bigs who might be available late in the first round.

yes, the great mystery man. that is whom tankathon has the celtics taking at 27.  i have read up on him and it seems no one really knows what to make of him in terms of how well he will do in the nba.

any insights from this board?

I'm starting to think that if the player the Celtics want isn't there at 27, they will probably trade down and pick up a 2nd round pick. Most likely with a team like Phoenix (31 and 59) or Dallas (33 and 54).

I'd be surprised if this is the route Ainge takes. We don't need more picks, the roster is already too crowded with fringe players as it is.

Boston really needs to consolidate more than anything.
