I would like it if the moratorium on trade activity was lifted after the NBA draft takes place.

July and August will be very busy period for me. So I'd like to be able to make a trade or two while I have this free time.

I don't want to agree to a deal with a GM after all the back and forth and then weeks later get a PM telling me that a better offer has come along now and I'm rescinding our deal that was done weeks ago. Nor do I want to be the guy who sends that kind of PM to someone else.

I may open things up sooner but i want to make sure all the other parts (offseason rosters, picks, etc.) are all set up.

June is the most crazy month for me. But I'll do my best. I should have some time next week so watch for announcements then about liftnig the moratorium.

We've not opened up trading in this league yet. Trades sent in now will NOT be processed --- and will need to be resubmitted when we open the league back up. I'm *hoping* this will happen later this week but can't guarantee it yet, sorry.

Also please remember that per our constitution, when the moratorium *is* lifted 2016 draft picks cna't be dealt until *our* 2015 draft (mid-September).

16. Future draft picks may be traded on draft day, but no further than one year into the future. This is also true for trades made after the draft or during the regular season.

To answer a question that's already been posed about #3  above ^^:

No, you can't submit a trade involving a 2016 draft pick and have me hold it for 3 months. I'll be lucky if I can remember my kid's name in 3 months never mind your Biyombo/Stauskas for three #1 picks (too soon?). Y'all save it and submit them when we get into SEPT and i send a similar type annoucment. I don't want to be responsible for the myriad secondary, tertiary moves that result from those deals.

Oh, and caveat emptor on trades that sit for 3 months too. I don't wanna hear "GC agreed to this trade 2 months ago but has since traded Bismack Biyombo. DO SOMETHING!!!!"

Nah, that's straight from Yahoo. I maybe traded a 2025 second rounder for him? Or maybe I watched some weird Japanese video and he just appeared on my lineup a week later?
