Nader has been the best surprise in summer league.

Ugh, that was so Rondo-esque of Ball there. He had a clear layup after beating his man, but he passed it out to the corner three man.

They should make the court bigger. Wider.

I hate seeing the game stop when someone steps on the line in the corner.

Yes, they should. Have you seen that hour glass plan for widening forwards towards the basket...

No. I haven't seen that. That sounds cool.

Can't find it but it's a cool idea....

Nice. That is twice now Ball has gotten to the paint off the dribble directly when bringing the ball upcourt against a set defense.

Eh, that was in semi-transition and was off of a high pick that pitted him against a big defender who was backtreading. He still hasn't shown that he can get into the paint regularly in the halfcourt set.
also, when he does drive he almost never shots, but passes the ball, which he is good at doing. but i think more physical guards are doing to give him fits.

ball is 2-6 in shooting. better than his first game.

Rondo might be a good comp for Ball...

Tatum looks wiped.  Doesn't help no one passes the ball.  At least there'll be plays to run to get him looks.  This is more about conditioning.

i think nader will be fine for the celtics as their 11 or 12th man. which is a good thing to have such depth.
Yeah he is doing ok in SL, hope he makes the big club this season.

Except Rondo is actually tough and plays elite defense when motivated.

Agreed. Only seen him do that once tonight.

Still, it's something.

Walter McCarthy doing a poor job as a head coach so far. The Celtics should be playing much, much better than they are so far. No plays, all iso ball, no direction on either end of the floor from what I can see. Also poor substitutions so far.

I like what I've seen from Zubac so far. He looks much better than Zizic.

given the general purge of the team's back of the bench, i think nader has a real good shot at making the team. but even in the dleague people questioned his defense.

his offense should be okay, which is nice to have off the bench.
