How about a package of Time Lord plus young prospects and future picks? This could be like the Al Jeff for KG trade. We sacrifice a young stud which the fanbase really loves for an established All Star. KAT is only 25, so a JT/JB/KAT trio could contend for many years. Kemba would probably need to go as well in order to create room for KAT’s salary. Would this scenario be possible?

Call me crazy, but I want nothing to do with Towns as a centerpiece. Too innately soft, as talented as he is.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Ok - you’re crazy.

Idk about that trade, I highly doubt it beats other offers unless KAT depresses the market by specifying Boston.

I like to think that KAT plays “soft” because he’s never actually had anything to play for, not because he’s a soft player. I don’t doubt he’s ready for a change of scenery.

As for Time Lord being in the deal, sure, but he’s going to be one of the young prospects, not the centerpiece. The young stud that the fan base love’s first name will start with a “J” not an “R.”

Ship out Brown, Timelord, Nesmith, Langford and a few firsts for KAT.

Then pick up Bradley Beal. Done done doneeeee

KAT has been really solid this year on a totally dysfunctional Wolves team. He's an average defender - not above, nor below. But he's the best shooting big in the league, arguably the most talented big in the league when it comes to scoring, and is a great passer. He'd be awesome
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

You won’t need a thing because he gets picked up as a free agent.

If KAT is moved, would not surprise me if he goes to Miami. They have the package to get him and I would venture everything he’s been through, he would want to be closer to his family. I remember how close Tim Duncan came from leaving a dynasty in San Antonio because he wanted to be closer to his family in the Virgin Islands.

The only issue would be if Riley prefers Bam over KAT and/or future problems with Jimmy.

Also Russell. Both dont know how to win

Wolves will get a decent return from someone but nothing crazy imo

ya lets trade for Doncic too, maybe sign Jokic for the MLE. Giannis probably takes the VET min.

Also Beal/ Towns is would be score 130 a night. Might allow 135 tho.

Do people still think Brown and Tatum know how to win after this year?

Tatum-KAT-Kemba. Can we believe in this trio? I don’t know. They definitely seem talented enough though. But it wouldn’t surprise me if the ECF was their ceiling.

I think at the end of the day, this team will only go as far as Tatum can take them. I really think JT needs more “meanness” to his game. Look at KD. He went from nice, talented youngster in OKC who got beaten in the finals, to this new, tough persona ever since he joined GSW.

If you look at previous champs in the past 20 years, most, if not all, of the best players (or even top 2 players) of the teams who reached the top have this unbelievably “mentally tough” trait. This otherworldly confidence of “you can’t stop me/you can’t beat us”, almost a**hole-like mentality to go along with otherworldly talent. Peep the list:
- Shaq & Kobe
- Duncan (he wasn’t a jerk but Duncan had that quiet, stone cold killer mentality. KG couldn’t even get in his head)
- pretty much that entire Pistons lineup
- Wade & Shaq
- KG & Pierce
- Kobe
- Dirk
- Lebron & Wade
- Steph & Draymond
- Lebron
- Steph & KD
- Kawhi & Lowry

The closest players on this roster who we have of this breed are Smart and TT, and oh boy, that’s not a great place to be.
