Tatum had a bad game, it happens to the best of them.  Still an MVP caliber player.  Hopefully he will put this one behind him.
Meanwhile our other top 10 KIA MVP ladder player dropped 37/14/5 and did everything he could to drag us to a win.

I'm usually the first one to jump on Tatum but I'm fine with him having a poor game - these happen. I do want him to stop forcing stuff when he's stone cold though.

Bad game by Tatum and so his season averages have plummeted to... 31-8-4 with a 56% eFG%

Trade this bum.

Sorry, but this makes no sense at all. Any coach will tell you the same thing. There is no different way to play when "stone cold" , especially if you are an MVP level player.

There absolutely is, you tone down the heat check shots and focus on leveraging your gravity to create open shots for others.

Yeah there is a difference between forcing things and continuing to shoot.  Tatum absolutely should keep shooting the shots that come within the offense, that are open, etc. even when he is shooting poorly, but you don't have to drive into double teams and force shots up over those double teams and things like that.
