Kadeem Allen with a nice night as well, 21pts, 6R, 7A, 4steals, 0 TO, 2-4 3pt shooting.  Bird had 23 points but not great shooting numbers.

It's pretty cool, most of the roster was in Boston for training camp. The Red Claws look like a real minor league team. I think you can watch most of the games at their website.

Game 2, Bird with 25, 9-17FG, 6-11 on 3's.  10 rebounds, 0 assists and 4 TO, team best +18.  Kadeem Allen a team worst -13 FWIW.

Yeah, I watched yesterday’s game (it was on NBA TV).  Bird is definitely a keeper — he’ll be nice, cheap bench depth for four years beginning next season or the year after.

Allen reminds me a lot of out of control Rozier.  My best hope for him is that after two years on a 2-way he’ll develop enough to give us what Rozier gave us last year — which would be fine as a 13th man on a championship team.  I don’t see him becoming a rotation player.

Yabu played for the Red Claws today and had 27 points on 10-20 shooting with 6 boards and 4 assists. I really do harbor hope for Yabu to be a good nba player in a year or two.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm with you. I think he can be a really good offensive player. His activity has been good on defense too, even if his feel on that end is poor.

Red Claws first 7 baskets against the Raptors were 3 pointers.

Andrew White scores 38 on 17 shots, but RJ Hunter goes off for 40 and Red Claws lose.   Poor shooting games from Bird and Allen.

In other news they trade Ochefu for Wesley Saunders.  No real big down there now.
