Germany up on the US 33-31 after the first.  The lead was as large as 10 at one point for the Germans.  The US defense has let Germany get to the rim too easily on backdoor cuts.

Interesting seeing some old friends on the German team.  They've been very good all tournament. I do expect the US to pull away in the 2nd half.  They've started slow a lot and seem to finish very well.

Germany’s come out strong in the third, now up 70-64.  Theis is having a great game — 19 points on 8-12 from the field.

Germany have put 100 up on the board vs Team USA. With 10 min quarters that's pretty impressive.

IT's not like Team USA is shooting bad...they're shooting 60% overall and 50% from 3. Germany just shooting better. Ex Celtics Schroder, Mo Wagner and Theis leading the way.

Team USA made a hash of their final possession they eventually got 2 points but they wasted 30 sec and now gave 0.5 sec left with Germany ball ans score 113-111 germany

Reaves is so overrated. He’s a decent offensive piece, but he’s an absolute sieve defensively and was being targeted every time down the floor.

But an embarrassing performance by USA. Everything was individual and iso. No team play whatsoever.

Just putrid. Losing to Germany? Theis and the Wagners? What a disgrace.
