You tell it, ACF!  I agree with you.  Our whole bench has been terrific...look at all the mileage Erden has gotten and Davis.  They are not starters, they are temporary replacements for starters and have gotten us off to a terrific start. This does not mean that they should be starters.  Their shortcomings are now becoming apparent to our opponents.  When all our starters get back into the swing of things, I have been saying all along that we are going to be scary good first string with a great bench... and I do believe that.

This team won 4 in a row prior to running out of gas in Chicago.  That mini-streak was with 3 of their top 8 players unavailable.

The 3 injured players are recovering while Rondo is gradually getting back to 100%.  In the meantime subs like Baby, Luke, Semih, JO and Von are getting valuable court time.   Once Perk, KG and Delonte are back, everyone shifts into their real roles.  When that happens this team is poised to compete with anyone. Over 7 games with rest days in between, they will be extremely dificult to beat.

Health is critical for every team, so it should be needless to say how important it is.  Truthfully, there is no elite team that will survive the loss of 1 of their top 3 players. C's are no different.

Bulls Schmulls ..
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Despite all the whining, the Boston Celtics, as of this morning, are in first place in the East, and second only to San Antonio overall for home court advantage throughout.  Well done, my shorthanded team!  Keep up the good work.  Keep fighting and improving and getting healthy.  Go Celts!

Thanks, tb. Haven't been around a lot lately and just breezing through some threads seems the blog is in full panic mode at times.

Good thing this thread is kept alive huh?
