is sam cassell active? and when is he gonna play?

He is active, but if history is any lesson, I don;t think we'll see him in a blowout.  The only chance we'd see him is if there is a bunch of foul trouble or something unspeakable happens.  Remember how Doc used Pollard last year when he was dressed?  I'm guessing it will be like that.

Yeah even if Rondo or House went down, Gabe would be the one to step in.  Sam Cassell is basically the emergency quarterback of the team.

I think he's active for Pruitt (who is sick)...At least that's what someone said in the chatroom earlier (or was it the guy at the deli I heard that from  ;) )
Yup

The D is working again tonight.
Only 28 pts for the Sixers at
the half. Seven steals for the C's.
Balanced attack, led again by Rondo.
Sixers are taking bad shots because
the Celtics D is frustrating them.

Working again, bothering CB again...

Thoughts on the green so far? I can't see them, so TP to anyone who can break the game down.

Name a facet of the game, and the Celts are beating them at it.

Philly has zero offense except for Brand.  The Celts are confusing the hell out of them on D, and Rondo and company are moving the ball very well on offense.  Great effort from the bench too.  Totally solid half after a fairly sloppy first few minutes.

I love that the Celts seem to be back to the point where a team best be at their best on offense or they are going to get run off the floor.

Glad to hear it... I was wondering how the Brand/Garnett matchup was going to play out. I like watching the big post scorers take on KG.

Thanks for the updates guys. TPs to Redz and ACF

Powe's D in that first half is what stood out for me. Tommy was spot on giving him credit.

Can't get enough of Rondo lately. Seriously. That kid is doing all the right things.

This Philly team does not impress me at all. I know they're not playing their best anyway, but beyond Dalembert (who's overpaid) and Thad Young, I don't really like anything about them.

It's amazing. Brand has 16 and 8 right now mid-way through the 3rd. Yet, he doesn't appear to dominate. That's the impression I get from him. A very good player who has no impact on the game whatsoever.

Anyone watch the Magic game last night? You can tell Rashard spent some time with Ray...their shots are the exact same.
