You can pretty much bank on him leaving.

I remember him commenting on how the team lost it's heart and that the chemistry was gone.

He was pretty disappointed when he returned to Detroit.

We have been short on bigs all season.  A team needs at least 6, as Wiley's post reflects.  We have never had more than 5 on our roster.
Garnett -- Perkins -- Powe -- Davis -- Scalabrine -- Moore/O'Bryant

That sixth big man was very weak for the first 2/3rds of the season ... but there's enough depth there.

The team is just carrying too many injuries -- team's cant protect themselves from the injuries Boston are suffering from.

I don't count Veal.  Neither did Wiley, whose post I commented on.  A rebound-free player can't count as a big.

How's your "I don't believe for one second that Baby will get $5 million" theory doing these days?

I know Danny was thinking about signing him a few years back. I would love to have him in green, and he would make a GREAT backup option off the bench, like the role PJ Brown played last season (which is also a role that is horribly portrayed by our man Mr. Moore this season).

I think the chances are pretty good.

our man? more like woman

Bigs:  Perkins, Garnett, McDyess, Baby, Hansborough (via Danny magic), Powe (1 year of rehab)

Mediums:  Pierce, Walker, Giddens, Scal

I think it's worth counting Brian Scalabrine as a big man. He has given the club good service, particularly at power forward, when called upon over the past two seasons.

How's your "I don't believe for one second that Baby will get $5 million" theory doing these days?
The continued absence of Kevin Garnett has put a dampener on that. Unfortunately, Davis has a legitimate shot at that type of money now.

If KG had of returned in time, I do not think Davis would have had any hope at that type of money.

Can we afford Dice, Davis, and Powe?

Powe will have to take a 1 year minimum wage due to rehabbing. But Davis will command near a full midlevel. Would Dice come over for possibly 3 million? I doubt it. Signing McDyess might mean giving up Glen Davis. Do we want to do that?
