We're lucky they're not hitting their wing threes. The 2-1-2 is susceptible to that shot. Surprised it's viable in the NBA.
Honestly I think it just mentally screws up the other team because they just don’t expect it to work. Kind of like “no way they are plying this” thought process.

I mean I’d like to be up but with as bad a stretch as they had, Down 5 isn’t so bad.
really showcases that meltdown right before the half

Well, Brad, whatever you did at halftime - keep that up. You got the guys' heads back in the game and playing with energy.

I wish one of our media guys would ask Brad about Grant's defensive struggles this year.  I wonder if it's a different role that he's just struggling with, or if he's just in a mental funk or what.  He doesn't appear to be out of shape to me.  Shot looks solid... I actually like the way his corner three looks this year.  But he's constantly out of place and a step behind on defense when that wasn't often the case last year.  Hell... he was on the court against the Raptors in game 7 because we trusted him, and he was arguably our best defender against Bam at times in the ECF.

JB is such a beast right now. His growth has been amazing to see and he has an ability to add a new aspect to his game every off season.

I legit thought Jaylen had one of his worst halves of the season in the first half.  Now you look up near the end of the third and the dude is sitting on 20/4/3.

What an emergence this has been for him.

Is it just me, or are teams utilizing zone much more in the past two seasons or so?

Agreed. I thinks it’s the “if nothing is working, let’s change it up and see what happens” defense.

Yeah for sure. If it’s his fault for letting the meltdown happen then he should def get credit for righting the ship too.
