Heat in the middle of the blowout right now against the Wizards playing with no John Wall.

if this is the headline that's gonna come out, i'm gonna be sick. please, any team who's going to make the playoffs should beat the Wizards when they're playing without John Wall. I know it has no real significant bearing, but i'm just dreading the headlines that will most likely excessively praise the Heat for this win.

Eh they won by 11, not a blow out but also not a close game.

Remember the "9 point blowout" against the 76ers...they were pretty dominant in that game ;D :P

Why are there more threads on CB about the Heat than the Celtics?

Enough is enough.

If this was true it would be disturbing, but it isn't.

I honestly believe that their blowout win against the Magic was a fluke. They need some wins against credible teams to look serious.

Good teams get blown out by other good teams and bad teams and mediocre teams all the time. I think now people are starting to see that win as more of a reflection of the Magic's ability to lose focus and not rise than the Heat's ability to rise above.

Basically, the Magic just let themselves get intimidated and folded. It was a close game the first two quarter, but the Magic got nervous in the 2nd half and folded. The Magic as a team lack a killer instinct and balls.

Or Jameer Nelson had a very poor second half and then the big wings of the Heat completely shut down the Magic's other options.

For the same reason that there are more news stories about Lindsay Lohan than there are about Meryl Streep.

It was the Heat's home opener. Home openers don't count. Weird things happen.

The media in the sporting world has always been strange to me.

Kevin Garnett hits the game-winner against the Knicks, the following morning, headlines around the sports world are "Whats wrong with the Celtics?" and "C's showing signs of age"

Kobe Bryant hits the game-winner against the bucks, who at that point werent even .500, headlines are "Kobe is God."

Heat beat one of the leagues worst teams in the Wizards, without Wall, a speedy point guard that would have had a field day against the heat, headlines are "Back on Track"

It makes me sick.

When was the Heat considered a dominant team and by whom?I don't think a handful of games can  qualify any team as being dominant.Lets be real here the Heat are medicore at best so far.Beating down the Wizards only tells me that they haven't hit bottom yet.
You can call the 2007-08 Celtics team dominate at times but the Heat, not.
