Skip Bayless has perfected the art of promoting a player to the max, (and holding the reigns of the associated bandwagon), while giving same said player, (Tim Tebow), every conceivable excuse for losing, so both player and Bayless come out smelling like a proverbial rose, no matter what happens. Can't wait to see what kind of detritus he has to spew out tomorrow morning ... man, that guy really rubs me the wrong way. :P

Nice win, Pats ... horrible start for the defense, but nice recovery.

He's also pretty good at jumping on a guy. He has been doing a number on Bron for a while now.
Even if he rubs people the wrong way at least nobody tells him "hey you can't say that!"  They give him guys like Stephen A Smith to argue with and it evens out a bit

Now that Braylon Edwards has been cut does it make sense to bring him in?  Who would we cut? Maybe line him up at defensive back.

that was some pretty blatant pass interference. Subtlety is not the Pats pass defense's forte.

This giving the other team the ball first, falling behind and not going with the uptempo offense right away has put the Pats in a hole for like the 5th consecutive week.

Did the Pats defer again?  If I'm coaching Brady, I want him on the field to start the game, especially with this pathetic defense.

The Patriots must be the worst conference leading team of all time.  They look like a bunch of stumblebums on defense.

"New England is the worst defense I have ever seen on a playoff bound team."

That's what one of the NFL commentators just said . . . while calling the Saints game. Bad sign when commentators for other games are marveling at how bad the Pats defense is.

I am intrigued by this experiment of putting McCourty at safety.  Their safety play has been abominable this year, and it has made the corners look much worse.  Putting McCourty back there with Chung could actually really help them out.  McCourty's man to man skills have come into question this year, but he does seem to know what he is doing out there, and having those two in the middle of the field could do a lot to keep the defense on track, and get rid of some of the terrible mental mistakes.

The Pats are ridiculous.  35 points unanswered now.

Still, spotting a playoff opponent 21 pts in the first quarter is a sure-fire way to lose.  Pats can't keep having these crappy first quarters if they want to win in a couple of weeks.

Im getting very worried that Rob Gronkowski will be put on the cover of Madden 13...Meaning he will tear his ACL halfway through next season.
