With no C's on and nothing else to do, been knocking out some extra shows lately:
Ozark season 3 - I feel like they really jumped the shark this season. So the family is running a huge criminal enterprise, and Wendy's mentally unstable hick brother shows up and is quickly fully integrated into the family business? The cut throat, cold hearted lawyer is chummy with the Byrd's most of the season and openly talks business in front of said brother? That would have never happened in Season 1 or 2. Still enjoyable though, interested to see where the story goes next season.
Tiger King - great docuseries, super interesting from start to finish. It's amazing that they could get so much relevant footage of all these crazy people.
And thanks to partially free HBO:
Veep season 7 - I love this show, absolutely hilarious. The series finale worked well too, great way to end the series.
Silicon Valley season 6 - Also love this show, hilarious, but it can be a little stale and repetitive at times, and it was clear they were running out of ideas. HR pitting Gilfoyle and Monica against each other to see who can improve HR scores just seemed too "sitcomy" and also a rehash of Jared pitting Gilfoyle and Dinesh against each other with work tasks in season 1. Still funny, but like I said, thought they were getting stale. Finale was nothing special. Loved the show, but glad they ended it.
McMillions - interesting story, but it really feels like they stretched what should have been a 90 minute documentary into a 6 hour docuseries. Most episodes are boring and really drag. I don't need an hour long life story of every person who cheated the game.
