Mark Steinberg, Tiger Wood's agent, and his spokesman, Glenn Greenspan, just issued a statement that said "Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11 a.m. Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologize for his behavior." It is also being reported that Tiger will not take any questions from the media.- WEEI.com

Looks like Tiger will begin his comeback story this Friday with a controlled press conference.

He should have talked when it first happened instead of hiding behind press releases. What a coward.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I hate this story. I don't hate Tiger Woods...but I hate that this is still news. I hate that it ever was news. We should learn to mind our own business when it comes to athletes personal lives.

whatever.  he is going to say he is sorry.  he let himself down, his family down, his fans down.  he is going to focus on being a better player and playing the sport he loves.  he's sorry and hopes people will respect his privacy.

there's the cliff notes.  I am sure the press conference will be riveting.   ::)

Yup - the classic "bad news Friday" approach that politicians have mastered.  Hope it gets swept away over the weekend.  Whatever, it's really not any of our business anyway.

He created a family man persona and made money off of marketing himself that way. There is going to be a backlash to this type of behavior and I don't blame people who feel duped.

He deserves everything he gets if you ask me.
