It wasn't pretty but Baltimore beats San Francisco 20-17 on a Tucker 49 yard FG as time expires.  Ravens at 10-2 and the train continues right along humming.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

How do Clevelanders feel about the Ravens, generally? Are they followed, like some Bostonians continued to follow the Braves? Or are fans still jilted?

There are some like me that went with the team (though I didn't live in Cleveland at the time), but most dislike them.  However over time the dislike has faded and Pittsburgh is clearly the most hated franchise to the city.  I think Cincinnati is also a bit more hated overall than Baltimore given the battle of Ohio and what not.  The Superbowls the Ravens have won have been real painful, especially that first one, though.  That first one there was a lot of former Cleveland players still on the team and it hurt the fanbase a lot.  Though the Cavs winning has even helped that pain some.

Ravens finished their 7 game murderers row unbeaten.  Last 2 were close, but what an incredible run (outside of Cinci of course).  Beat the top 2 teams in the NFC along with another NFC playoff team.  Beat the 2nd best team in the AFC, another division leader, and the top AFC wild card team.  Just an incredible stretch of games.

Ravens have looked amazing. My guess is the Patriots will be the like the Falcons were to 98 Vikings in the playoffs. A great coach always seems to stop amazing players. They will not make the Super Bowl.

older Baltimore colts fans that remember,   many still feel the pain of Colts being moved.   Even with the success of Ravens .

The thing is the Ravens have a great coach.  A guy that has won the Superbowl with Joe Flacco.  A coach that has won multiple playoff games in New England (including that SB winning season).  Of course if they play the Patriots in the playoffs this year, it will almost certainly be in Baltimore again.

BTW, interesting note, Harbaugh's 2 playoff victories in Foxboro is 3rd all time in playoff victories in Foxboro.  Parcells has just 3 so Harbaugh could presumably pass Parcells sometime before he stops coaching.

Think that speaks more to how dysfunctional the Pats organization was until Kraft came to town more than anything else.

They played exactly one playoff game in Foxboro pre-Kraft era (1960-1993) and only two at home when Parcells was actually the coach.  Parcells only had two playoff seasons with the Pats.  So not exactly a "wow" statistic.

you are correct.  Parcells only has 2, so Harbaugh is tied with him.  Carroll got the other one I was thinking about.

All of the Patriots playoff losses under Bill have been on the road or neutral, except the 2 of Harbaugh and the 1 Ryan got with the Jets.

Assuming Jackson wins the MVP, which certainly seems the case, it’ll now be 20 years since an NFL MVP has also been on the Super Bowl winning team in the same season.
