These are just a few baseball facts/stats that I know that I
think are REALY COOL/INTERESTING!

Brandon Moss is the first player EVER to hit his first Major
League Home Run in the western Hemisphere Tokyo Dome vs
Oakland

Derek Lowe once threw 41 pitches in a game before he
recorded an OUT....May 4th 2008

The largest gap (In carear victories) between opposing
starting pitchers was when Greg Maddux (350 Wins) faced
Clayton Kershaw (0 Wins) in 2008

Speaking of Maddux, he is the oldest pitcher to EVER steal a
base at age 42 years 3months.

Willy Tavares once stole 5 bases in one game but NEVER
scored a run

Texas Starting Pitcher Scott Feldman once allowed 12 runs in
a game but did NOT get the loss...

Speaking of Feldman....David Dejesus of KC went 5 for 5 with
4 walks in his first 9 plate appearances against him...

The Oakland A's once had a streak where they started a left
handed starting pitcher 19 games in a row...

In 2008 the Seattle Mariners became the first team with a
100 million dollar payroll to lose 100 games.....

Gary Sheffield is the ONLY member of the 500 Home Run club
to have ONLY one 40 (+) home run season

Nick Swisher of the Chicago White Sox hit his weight last
season .219 AVE 219lbs

The New York Yankees starters only had one complete game
last season....

CC Sabathia is 1 -5 with an ERA above 8.00 over the past 2
April's

Last season Dice-K led the A.L. in most walks per 9 innings
AND fewest hits allowed per 9 innings....FREAKY
