  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
But did Papelbon say what he said? yes he did and then backtracked, why did he? who knows but he originally said it.  That only leads me to believe that he truly meant it.

Who cares?  He's a confident and competitive guy.  He wants the ball.  It's a non-story to me.

He said that he wanted to close the game.  He said that Rivera should close the game.  He didn't back track on anything.

Did we congratulate you on 100 TPs, ma11l?  If not, congrats.

Haha yes.  You guys didn't miss me.  It's just been awhile since that great day because my computer was out of commission for awhile and the only time I could post was when I went to the library.  Luckily I'm back up and running here so hopefully the TP's will start coming again  :P

Wait, I forgot to ask:  Is this "The $14 Million Two Run Homer"?
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Haha, how many months ago was that grand slam?  I still can't believe it happened.  I think that I will forever believe that was a big dream.

Yeah I was cheering for him to blow it in the 9th and then have JD hit a 2 run walk off homer.  Oh well.  Ya win some ya lose some.

Haha it's about to.  Gotta feel bad for Uggla, just a situation too big for him apparently.

Dan Uggla:  American League MVP.

Double play with a man on third, and then two errors in the bottom of the tenth.  Good stuff out of you, Dan.  Thanks for home field in the World Series.

(You hate seeing somebody be the goat, but I want the American League to win.)

What an inning...  Great play by Tejada.  I thought this game was over.

Uggla is the happiest guy in America right now.

This game is surreal.  I've been going back and forth cheering for both teams.  Now it's time to get serious and get the home field.
