You know  the TV ratings are all time low when there's no one uploading player highlights right after the game.

I love that Marcus Smart has now mostly moved off-ball. I think that's great for our team and puts him in the best position to succeed. He can focus on dagger threes, moving off-ball, creating secondary easy looks for teammates, and playing stellar defense.

I will say that Waters is vastly improved over last year.

Waters needs to improve his shot but I love his passing and I have no idea how he can be such a good defender at that size. He could come in handy against those little quick points. The block on Bane was awesome!

IIRC, Waters came in known for defense. Like wasn’t he picking up defensive accolades?

Anyway, I think Waters is awesome. I wish he gets more PT somehow. I just can’t see how though with our team.

Just double checked the box score glad to see Jaylen Brown did in fact drop a career high 42 points. Was shopping earlier and didn't catch the 4thQ.  Good to see the bench all get game time too

Yeah, I think that he was known for his D coming in but it’s amazing to see a guy so undersized be as good as he is. He’s tiny.

I have actually seen reports the first week is going very well for the league.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30624750/nba-ratings-opening-week-significantly-2019

It might just be that the Grizzlies are missing both of their stars so there is general apathy towards them right now.

Jaylen Brown is a stud...Good job  Danny.
He may wind up being better than Tatum. We can't say for sure that Tatum is going to be better because both are still ascending.  He's certainly got the work habits and the discipline to keep improving.
