Last week on CSN Felger said one of the guys at 98.5 who has some good connections with the Celtics. Told him that it was Cousins, for what it's worth.
If 98.5 has one guy "who has some good connections with the Celtics", he would be their first. When it comes to the NBA, they are complete hacks -- and if Felger says it's sunny outside I'd be packing an umbrella.

Cousins would make sense--the Kings might not want to deal him to a west coast rival, i.e., the Lakers, though Divac played for the Lakers. They are loaded up with centers--Stein looks like their future guy.

It's either Khris Middleton or Jimmy Butler

Definitely not Davis. He's just about to start that 5 year extension, NO has absolutely ZERO reason to trade him.

Hayward and George are out. Their teams just reloaded.

Westbrook, I'm gonna say 25/75.

Maybe Griffin or Cousins? Hopefully Griffin.
2021 Houston Rockets

SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Agreed for Jimmy Butler but I would hardly call Middleton a "star player".

you know this is like the million-th time that I have refreshed Celticsblog.

When  is this trade going to happen and what is the hold up?? It seems like Danny is in a holding pattern but for the life of me, and for anyone else, can't figure out why....

Just let the world know who the trade target is....

lol, I agree with this, Felger/Mazz, Tanguay, Blakely are the last people I would trust for Celtics news

but I'm patiently sitting at work, refreshing and see what kind of "traction" we are making :D

Cousins and butler are polarizing to different degrees and if he is being honest that everyone would like him it can't be them.  Blake, despite what happened last year, is someone who I could see media proclaiming "everyone would like".

the more and more this goes on...the more and more i think this is bull....

we know that Danny said he isn't done making moves but I think this guy is full of it and speculating with NO real basis.
Wake me when we gain some serious traction and we have a name AND a source AND Jeff writes about it.

It's hard to believe this guy. Remember when we all fell for that Nick guy confirmed KD to the Celtics. My hopes were up so high and then an abrupt downfall.

Don't fall for it. This guys probably wrong.

gaining traction doesn't mean a trade will happen.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Felger and Mazz like to run their mouth -- Felger may know a bit about basketball, but he's completely clueless about the NBA. And Mazz is just completely clueless. But their stuff is good for baiting traffic on the phone lines, so they stay on. Feels necessary to reissue the "buyer beware" warning here, though.

Actually, I'd trust Tanguay before any of the other three. He used to do the Celtics broadcast and has been around forever, so I feel that he has some sort of rapport with either the front office or the broadcast team.

A player all of us would be happy with you say? Hmmmmm my guess is that it is either prime pierce, or it is the ghost of kevin garnetts playing career.
