I agree with everyone that sees a little more pep in his step.  I'm hoping that this means he has now busted through that conditioning wall and is feeling like his old self again.  He is certainly playing that way.

And don't worry about his reduced numbers in categories like scoring or rebounding.  I attribute that more to Perk's increases in those areas.  KG is not having to as much as he used to and that's a great thing.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
In the last 5 games KG is averaging 21 points, 8(7.8,) rebounds, and 3(2.8,) assists on 74% shooting in just 31 minutes.

I don't know how you can not feel good about that...

Unless your Kobe...

Not basing this on anything but observation and gut feeling but I think this recent run KG has been on has reminded me more of the 08 KG than the 09 KG. Maybe not in athleticism, but in how he is getting his offense. He's getting open long jumpers because the ball is flying due to exceptional ball movement, and he is going to the post effectively and enough to keep em honest.

Oh yeah and his explosiveness is creeping back in too.

I feel great about KG!  I posted this in the game thread, but it's really remarkable just how quickly he's gone from "clearly not 100%" to "best player on the team right now".  Great, great news.  Hope he can keep it up.

I think he is getting older now, but he is more mature. His choice of shooting is getting better, it reflect on his FT%. After all, his physical condition is not as good as usual. He have to find the best way to play ball and not hurt himself.

What's not to love? The guy's on fire, moving his feet well, head into the game, pumped and ready-to-go ... People say he looks old, but honestly I don't see it. He's playing better right now than he's played in a long time ... and his knee is NOT an issue anymore. KG da man, (after Truth, of course ;)).
