  • My alter ego
Retired the first 21, gave up a double to Teixeira, took care of the next six.  Just thought it worth bringing up.

And in the name of jinxes, roughly three seconds after Stu Scott teased the perfecto at the end of SportsCenter as lead-in to Baseball Tonight, Kuroda gave up the hit.

Either way, I continue to be amazed at the phenomenon going on out West: My beloved Dodgers managed to completely mail it in for as long as our attention was focused solely on the green's run to the title...since the end of the playoffs/draft, they seem to have gone into "The Celts took care of business, no more screwing around" mode, and suddenly they're tied for first place.

Plenty of major flaws...but still, it's a nice start to the free agency season  ;D

I swear, about 98% of the time that ESPN breaks programming to go into a no-hit bid, the pitcher gives up a hit within 3 batters.  Absolute jinx.

The 2% is mostly filled with Red Sox's pitchers.
