TP FLCeltsFan!

I’m pretty happy we got those days off between the Game 7 on Friday night and start of this series. Felt like we needed a few days to recover after that insane series against the Raptors lol. Anyways, it wouldn’t surprise me if both teams came out rusty tomorrow to start. Definitely feels like this series will be determined by who plays the perimeter well (both with hitting shots and defending it). I think after a frustrating last few games for Kemba since the Raptors schemed against him well, he will have a big series and will have a great game tomorrow too. Thinking 30+ from him tomorrow.

pretty much 100 % guaranteed Spo will run the same defense and zone that Nurse did .  They don't want to play too much one on one on our starting five.

See what CBS has cooked up to counter .  " Box a Kemba "  defense.

Go C's!

I wonder if Romeo logs spot minutes in this matchup with Hayward out.

I wonder how effective they can be doing a box and 1, since they probably didnt practice it and their players arent nearly as good defensively as Toronto's. Maybe they try it and fail miserably. I doubt they can practice and master it in a couple of days.

I like how all of the Cs are smiling in their pictures, while all of Heat are mad...understandable, of course, since the Cs are going to come out hard in this one and get the W. Great thread as always FLC!!

TP. We'll be smiling tonight. Feeling optimistic about this series.

Looks like tonight's crew are Marc Davis, Kane Fitzgerald, & Sean Wright.

Shockingly, no Foster or Brothers in Game 7 of DEN/LAC.

Excited for the game -- hope C's are ready to defend the perimeter.  C's put a wrench in Heat's plans if they mess with their shooters.

Prediction:  Robyn... Today...

Well, at least it isn't another one of those awful 9pm start games. Some of us actually like to go to sleep at a reasonable hour so we can wake up for work (or go hiking).

Is it 6:30 already? Can't wait!

you'd think ESPN would have an updated programming guide showing the game instead of a Stephen A BS program.   >:(    need to set my DVR just in case I can't catch the beginning of the game

I don't think it's so much that he's a Celtic hater but he's just a bad ref and quite egotistical.

Marc Davis is the lead referee in this game and in an LA Times survey in 2016, players and coaches voted him one of the worst referees in the league so he may very well be an X-factor.  Celtics fans may remember him as the ref that Rajon Rondo threw the ball at to get ejected.

Here are a couple of quotes from the article about Davis:
“He’s cool as they come, but he’s so arrogant,” one player said. “He instigates things sometimes. Marc will go back at a player. He forgets that he’s talking to another man. Don’t challenge a man’s manhood. Now you are going too far.”“Marc Davis is hands down the worst,” a player said. “He acts likes he’s your friend, but he’ll just screw you. He’ll screw you and he’ll get the biggest attitude about it.”

Kane Fitzgerald is quick to call technicals and so the Celtics need to be careful about challenging calls.  He is the only ref to ever eject LeBron James.   But as with most refs they can be good in some games and bad in others.
