I wish he'd get a shot for we'd know. Remember how it took miracle to get Powe some playing time a few years ago. Sometimes Doc is stubborn about these things.

Patrick has been playing. He has been showing a consistent lack of basketball ability. His foul on Oden the other day was an absolute disgrace.

We are still 27 and 3.  I don't want to "revamp" the bench.  They have lost lead for us, but they have gained leads for us, too.  A careful addition or two might be a good thing (Motumbo, for example) but if nothing was changed, I think we still add another championship at the end of the season...with maybe one or two more losses on our record.  ;D

Your choice to use the word "revamping" is misguided. Ainge never revamped the bench midway through last season. He made a couple tweaks. And a couple tweaks is what we're in need of this year. For what it's worth, I don't think Marbury's the answer. House can hit big shots for us. He did it last year and he can do it this year. He's kind of like our Sasha Vujacic, minus the crying (by the way, look at Sasha's stats, overall they are very mediocre). Earlier in the season we saw House play the off guard with Pruitt at PG. I really don't know why Doc doesn't experiment enough with these types of lineups. Gabe is someone who has been stripped of opportunities to play in the rotation, even though he's good enough. He really does deserve a crack. If he can't make it, then yes, let's look to options like Dikembe and maybe play Cassell a little, hoping he's still got something. But we have options on our own bench that honestly haven't been looked to.

Garbage time does not count. I want to see him on the floor with starters not Scal. In the preseason he looked good, I think he still can.

Gasol's scoring wasn't a result of lacking bigs (esp since the starters were in). It was a result of KG rotating to help on Kobe, leaving Gasol open.

He looked horrible in the preseason. I mean, maybe he "looked good" because he had some fancy offensive moves here and there, but from a fundamentals perspective, he was really bad.

Oh, brother.

You don't throw a guy who's done absolutely nothing out with the starters because he's done absolutely nothing.

Paddy should be waived.

Soon.

I've been informed that Houston is trading Landry for Villanueva and Lue. This means that the Francis trade wasn't exactly to open a roster spot to Mutombo. I like that, hopefully Ainge can bring Deke to the club.

Ah ah, no, not Morey. The Lakers will probably get a PG in this deal, btw.

Landry makes as much as Villanua and Lue?

I was actually thinking Charlie V might not be bad off our bench.

it's too bad...he looks a bit like terry cummings, but sure doesn't play nothing like him.  guess milwaukee is giving up on him.

he's overrated, but i agree that he'd look nice on our bench.
