Nobody thinks Kyrie is whiny baby who puts scoring points over winning? Dude is like a worse version of Stephon Marbury when he forced his way out of Minnesota because KG was too good. This.. kyrie isn't that much better than IT and he's not getting us past warriors this year.

The ESPN trade machine is saying IT, Crowder, and Zizic isn't a legal trade for Kyrie. Can anyone verify this?

As long as the Brooklyn and LAL picks aren't included, I'd be down for this deal. Something like IT, Crowder, Zizic, and the Memphis and LAC picks would be a good deal.

I think our ceiling (and longevity) is significantly higher with Kyrie than IT, though I do worry about how young our team would be now.

Can't wait until Kyrie's first major injury in a Celtic uniform, and we're stuck playing Smart and Larkin at the point for a big chunk of the season.

And hasn't been there when we needed him most the last two years, right?

Of course I do. My point is that some people are saying, "Irving's healthy and IT isn't," when the reality is that Irving has a fairly extensive injury history that could catch up with him at any time, thus making him no less a health risk than IT.

And yes, IT missed most of the Cavs series this postseason, but I don't understand your reference to two years ago.

WHY this trade (if finalized) makes sense

Financially -- Celtics will have Kyrie on a relatively cheap contract for the next 2 seasons

IT4 wants to get paid...something Danny can't do unless he wants to mess up future cap

This is why Danny drafted guys like Semi, who can replace Crowder .

Sucks to see the little offensive machine go...but this is Irving we are talking about

Danny traded for IT4 for little and would be trading IT4 again for one of the best combo guards in the league
