DNP last night. No respect for GG.

He was serving a suspension.

He sat out Thursday vs. MIN and Saturday vs. GS for the suspension. He was available yesterday.

I've been poking around trying to find out the reasoning for this.  It seemed like he had carved out some pretty serious minutes before the suspension.  He does seem to have a knack for losing playing time, doesn't he?
Yup

My guess is that Danny didn't want to give Brad the option of playing him over Brown or Tatum. Given how good they've been he wouldn't be playing over them, but Ainge couldn't have known that. In any event any upgrade he gives is only marginal anyway, I don't think he gets you past the Cleveland (assuming we aren't already, which is debatable). In a GS series he probably unplayable due to his bad defense.

Gerald Green played the final 4:16 of garbage time last night vs. DAL. Entered with a 20 point lead.

This is from January 24 which explains the DNP-CD vs. Miami on Monday:
