What the heck is on the back Kalou's head? Is that a spider?

Has he shaved the back of his head into the shape of a spider?

Bayern have dominated the first 20+ minutes of this match. They haven't turned that dominance into goals (yet?) though.

Chelsea doing fairly well defensively to keep their shape. Their counter attacks look fairly blunt though. Too many players too deep in the pitch.

Di mateo's game plan is ugly from a spectator's point of view but it worked vs barca. It would have been  stupid to change it considering  the luck of talent in his roster

Good job by Cahill to earn a free kick just outside Bayern's box.

Don't let Lampard or Drogba take this. They are all power. Give it to Juan Mata. He can get it up and down and get a bit of curl on it.

Edit: Ahh, wasteful. Far too high.

I really like Tymoschuk. Very good ball winner in midfield.

I wish Chelsea had of signed him a few years ago after he left Shaktar to replace Makelele.

I think Chelsea should be happy with that first half. Pretty much what they wanted. To soak up the early pressure and frustrate Bayern and their fans.

A job well-done so far. Now for the next task  ... to nick a goal in the second half.

I'd like to see Paulo Ferreira out there instead of Bosingwa. He is a mistake waiting to happen.

Very worried whenever Ribery gets him in a one-on-one down the left wing.

So many missed opportunities for Bayern.

Only saw one replay but I thought it looked like Ribery's goal was actually on-side.

Nice ball by Drogba across the box. Chelsea's players just too late arriving into the box to take advantage of it.

Ribery+Robben duo controlling the whole match. I hope Drogba can come through. One Goal is enough to win this game.
