I'm not interested in our draft picks. I would imagine that whoever we pick in the 2nd round wouldn't make a big difference.

We've got:

Pruitt
Walker
Giddens

ALL WAITING PATIENTLY FOR A CRACK AT THE ROTATION

Unless we're drafting a true backup for Perk we're getting rid of our pick(s) IMHO.

if we get a true backup for perk in the 2nd round, the league's gm's aren't doing their jobs

Maynor would be a steal!!!!

Realistically...Jerrell McNeal or Wes Matthews of Marquette....Mcneal is tenacious defender

Another possibility is Dante Cunningham of Villanova....

Free agent= tony gaffney of Umass

Would you sign Tyrese Rice? It's not like Pruitt has shown anything spectacular.

Nando De Colo...I think he's going to have a solid career in the NBA when he comes over.

Not sure we can pass up taking Big or a solid 6'-8" SF to give us some size at that position even with Walker. Would also argue that we need insurance if Powe is not able to come back. He will not be 100% till mid-season which would allow us to test some Bigs in the event he is not able to make a full recovery. Wishing him the best in any case. Tough blow for the C's and for a true warrior.

Also, Celtics will have a summer league team this year. So expect them to test the waters with a number of prospects. When I see what Houston is doing with a mix of younger players and vets like Battier and Artest, not sure why people are so opposed to youth. Would love to have Lowry or Brooks.

Don't know De-Colo, but based on the "highlight film" he doesn't seem very athletic. I don't see him translating well to the NBA. Also, that song! At first I was like what's with the slow jam highlight film lol. What is this Brian McKnight? Then the beat got all distorted and the music was out of sync and a horrible rap came on. Painful...

Yeah the rap song was awful!  He is high reward, low risk if he were to actually pan out.  There's most likely better guys out there, but he's one of he few I actually had heard of and fits the bill of storing someone over seas and seeing if they turn into anything.

Same point as before.

No more prospects - or suspects.

That's a mypic view.

Danny Green.

Athletic, decent size to back up the 2/3.  High basketball IQ.  Can finish around the basket and drill the open three.  Good ball handling skills.  Excellent on the ball defender.

He would serve well in that James Posey role except he can't play the four.  He's more a Trevor Ariza type which is exactly what this team needs. He comes from an excellent school and a highly competitive conference, he'd be able to step into the rotation right away.  I said last year he'd be a great pick for the C's.

Other than that, I'd like to add some guys with length....Josh Heytvelt, Jeff Pendergraph types......
