Brandon Knight's defense on Jimmer Fredette was exceptional on that defensive sequence. Completely locked him up. Jimmer couldn't get around him. Jimmer kept huffing and puffing but he couldn't get anywhere.
Tayshaun Prince with a nice block to end the defensive possession. He had a nice sweeping lefty drive going across the lane a few plays earlier. Winning plays down the stretch.
Will Bynum and Aaron Brooks have had a nice battle here in the fourth too. Blowing by one another on either end with regularity. A serious lack of shot-blocking and interior defense in there to dissuade them.
I like this Detroit team. They are a lot more fun to watch this year than last. The additions of Drummond and Singler, the growth of Knight and the subtraction of Ben Gordon has made them much more enjoyable to watch. I like these work in progress / up and coming type teams. I like seeing them grow individually and collectively.
