Kinda surprised it's going to be the full 4 years. I was expecting him to go the 2+1 route to get the 10-yr vet max in 2 years.

Kyrie was always one to talk smart, not act it.

He didn't even talk smart. He tried to sound smart, using big words and convoluted, run-on sentences, but it was a bunch of hogwash.

I feel like BKN wouldn't sign Kyrie and renounce D'Lo already unless they had a good feeling someone like KD was joining him. That or maybe even someone like Butler. I mean, they probably could have just kept D'Lo and still had max space anyways, right? Kyrie > D'Lo but D'Lo is younger and didn't seem like a headcase in his time with Brooklyn.

No. Sign and trades are limited to four years.
