Really??  Dang man I dunno.  AD is EASILY one of the 3 best basketball players on the planet and he's only 24....

Brown, Horford and 4#1's for AD?  Too rich for my blood.

New Orleans is not trading Anthony Davis until the summer of 2020, at the earliest, and even then only if he's made clear to them he's planning on leaving.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I'd pull the trigger if it was Rozier and not Brown. It's a superstar league and:

Irving/ Brown/ Hayward/ Tatum/ Davis

Where Irving is the only one not under long term contract is pretty tantalizing.

That said, it's more of a video game trade... Horford's not going anywhere.

Pretty sure NO and Toronto both say no quite quickly.

What about Horford and Brown as the second scenario shows?

Toronto and NOP both say no.

I don't think Al Horford and a low pick is what the Raptors would want if they're moving DeMar.
I think TOR would say yes to Brown + salary for Demar. Boston wouldn't do that deal though.

As PhoSita says, NOP isn't trading Davis till he only has one year left on his deal that's 2019-2020. (he will exercise his option to get a new deal sooner).

Let's say we don't package any picks to move up in the 2018 draft.  Next summer in 2019 we have FOUR 1st round picks and most of our assets if we stay put.  Then we can make an extremely attractive offer for Davis.

I'm not interested in Davis unless/until he adds strength and the ability to post up.

Next ;D.

Hope they all convey, but C's pick will be a low first (probably #25-30) + Clippers don't look like a playoff team.

Really, because all I've ever seen from him is that he scores on midrange jumpers and lobs. Most of his game is predicated on athleticism and he's primarily a face-up four who plays too much like a guard for my taste.

Again, if he were stronger and had actual post moves, there would be no way that Draymond Green, for example, would ever be able to push him off of his spots and take away the vast majority of his SportsCenter highlights, but I'm weird.

You say push him off his spots as if he performed worse against GSW than he usually plays. Which would be a hard argument to make considering he averaged 28/15/2/2/2 lol

Considering the league, especially the offence Brad runs, AD is the perfect big man.

Why don't we include Brad, Kyrie, DA, part of Red's soul, the parquet and logo design in the trade?
I mean, we could lose so much more of our values if we just try hard enough.

We have to understand and respect what we have here.
