Gorgui Dieng would be a good option as a 3rd center.  Can shoot 3’s and block shots. Wouldn’t demand big minutes but could be available if Al needed a day off.

Kessler Edwards would be a good replacement for Nesmith. Solid project/athlete.  Would rather have TJ Warren but he may want a larger role and more money.

Frankly, I’d bring in Jackson and Giles on three year minimum deals with a team option on the third year. Worst-case they bust as reclamation projects and wave towels next year as 14th/15th men. But those guys seeing JT tear it up might get them back on track with where everyone thought they’d be by now back in 2016, and then the three year deal is a bargain with the ability to re-sign them after those conclude.

Unfortunately, Isaac won’t fit the TPE and La Bamba is an UFA.

I would be happy with Tony Snell as a 3rd string SF. I feel his game is underappreciated as an end of bench guy. Better two-way player than most 3rd stringers.

You can’t sign somebody to a 3-year minimum with the vet minimum exception.  2 years or less.

I also posted in another thread just now: if SA is dumping people, Poeltl fits in the TPE. He might bristle at the demotion and the Celtics might not want to spend even more money but he'd be a heck of a luxury for when Timelord is injured and Al is looking old (instead of Bryant).
