I want to start by saying what the kings should do and what the kings will do are often polar opposites. This team is straight up awful. Ownership really wants to make the playoffs but, it's clear that this team is going no where for a while. The kings are looking at a long rebuild. In all honesty, they should blow up and start from scratch.

I'm proposing a three team trade
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ya95tzbk

Chicago sends: D Jones Jr, Brown Jr, (two expiring contracts) and a first round pick
Chicago gets: Dennis Schroder and Josh Richardson

Sacramento sends: Harrison Barnes and Tyrese Haliburton
Sacramento gets: Langford or Nesmith, Grant Williams, Prichard, Jones Jr, Chicago first round pick, Celtics 2024,Celtics 2025 pick swap, Celtics 2026

Boston Sends:Langford or Nesmith, Grant Williams, Prichard,Celtics 2024,Celtics 2025 pick swap, Celtics 2026,Dennis Schroder and Josh Richardson
Boston Gets: Harrison Barnes, Tyrese Haliburton and Brown Jr.

Boston is mortgaging its entire future essentially on this deal. This is basically the team for the foreseeable future. It doesn't give them much maneuvering. If it fails it could screw them.  The Celtics will have what appears to be an amazing core for the long term. All while going under the tax this year I might add.

Two All-stars
Tatum, Brown

Two potential stars on cheap contracts
Haliburton and Robert Williams

Two High level veterans
Smart and Barnes

Solid Veteran
Horford

Potential Young wings
Langford or Nesmith and 2023 first round pick

The Celtics add shooting and playmaking.

those deals are not improving the team.  give up a 2 firsts.  the swap isn't likely to happen if it's going to Sac.  give up 3 prospects that have shown they could develop into solid rotation players.  giving up 2 solid rotation players.  All we get back is one solid rotation player in Barnes and a rookie that didn't look particularly impressive in the last game.  this is definitely not an 'amazing' core.

these moves paint this team into a losing corner with no assets to get out of that mess
