On a positive note - wouldn't it be great if we are witnessing the blossoming of a star in Rob Williams ?
Haha..dude wasn’t playing against no one tonight.. wait till he play against a real starting center & he won’t have those numbers
Pretty much. Not surprised Cs fans are fawning after his performance the other night though against G league players.

And people wonder why others are leaving Celticsblog.
Because they don’t like a dose of realism? I mean, I want Williams to do well but think you need to call a spade a spade. He did what he was supposed to against incredibly inferior competition. His performance on the other hand does no anoint  lhim as a great player though. He’s nothing more than a role player who can’t stay healthy. It’s ok to say that.

The only people who are saying that people are anointing as a great player is you. There's nothing wrong with giving him praise for having a good game. By the way realism isn't the same negativity. But that seems to get twisted on Celticsblog.

And besides, it's not like Robert Williams can control the type of opponents on the game. This is another unusual season with many players being sidelined due to COVID. If Robert had a bad game against the diminished Cavs team, would you thrash him?
