Surprised Hornets didn’t go for Sengun to backup then replace Plumlee
Ball/Bouknight seems like a fun backcourt combo.

People say Kings gonna King, but Pelicans again can't get out of their own way.

Terrible pick with Ziaire Williams

Every mock had him in the 20's; his field goal percentage last season at Stanford was an .374%  and his 3 point % was just as bad with .291%.

I think that pick is for Memphis.

Sorry my mistake, makes a little more sense for Memphis because he's viewed as a project but he doesn't sound like a lottery pick either way.

Joshua Primo? I would automatically call this a majorly horrible pick, but it is the Spurs, so will hedge on my opinion since they have a great track record.

Primo at 12.  I laugh at myself for posting a month ago as someone the Celtics could hopefully trade up for in the early 2nd or late 1st.

Williams was a terrific high school prospect who had a rough go this year.  Stanford had some of the most restricitve Covid school restrictions of any D-1 school in the country.  He himself caught Covid and was out for weeks, and lost a close relative to the disease, which caused him to leave the team briefly.  It’s a reach at 10, but he was someone I liked at 16 when the Celtics had the pick.

Any other team outside of the Spurs makes that deal and would face the ire of the NBA fans. But since it’s the Spurs and they have a great track record of drafting and developing obscure guys, everyone is ok with it lol.

It's a stoner draft.

I'm a big fan of Moses Moody and Trey Murphy, I'm surprised they are still on the board.

Long 3-D wings with upside is what every team wants in today's NBA

Kings gonna Kings

What an awful pick

Better than the Wagner pick. Shoots 44% from 3pt, Good defender, Winner..
Wagner is a better defender than Mitchell and positionally fits in Orlando, unlike Mitchell in Sacramento

Yeah. IDk. Just feel like you should take a player with more upside/talent at #7 overall.
Why does Wagner have low upside? He’s a good shooter and passer as well as being an elite defender. Suggs, Isaac and Wagner are a fearsome defensive trio

Wagner shot 34% from 3pt. Only grabbed 6 boards a game in 32mins of play. 12ppg... decent height at 6’9”, but doesn’t look to have a big wingspan, average athleticism.
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Not sure college stats really dictate potential

Oh okay thanks, it makes more sense...Grizzlies must be pulling an Ainge and going for a big swing on potential with circumstances hopefully causing his issues.
