Why not combine some ideas.

Let's start things off with, whoever gets the ball kicked off to them to start the game, starts things off in OT. That makes deciding whether you want to kick or receive the ball to start the game even more important.

Second, do a college football theme with teams getting the ball at the 40 yard line and each team has one drive to score as much points as they can. The team's both play in the direction of the kickoff to start the game. If a team's defense scores on a turnover, that team wins the game. I chose the 40 yard line so that teams with great defenses could stop the opponents from scoring at all, making that side of the ball important in overtime. It also makes having a great kicker important because he might have to kick a 50+ yard FG.

If tied after both teams get a possession you then go to sudden death with first team scoring wins the game. Quarters are 15 minutes long. The team kicking off, kicks off in the same direction as the kickoff to start the game.

So we make deciding what to do on the initial coin flip important. We give each team an equal one time opportunity with the ball to score in overtime. The game goes to sudden death thereafter.

Everyone should be happy.

Anyone think Antonio Brown will get to play with the Ravens, per his latest Twitter tweet?  ;D

Could Tom Brady may have made his last pass completion to Cameron Brate in his career? What an emotional-like Instagram post. It sounds like he's retiring. I hope not though. I hope he goes one more year and just win his 8th next season. Maybe he goes to the 49ers and win there, since it's close to San Mateo. Lots of possibilities out there.

You never know, but I just can’t see Brady going out like that. It’s between him and Rodgers for MVP. Tom threw 40+TD’s and over 5000 yards, so he clearly still has enough left in the tank. I also believe that if he had either Godwin or Brown, they would have beaten the Rams. I hope he plays till the wheels fall off.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Refs turning a blind eye to KC penalties already lol. 2 plays in the endzone where they held the arms of Bengals receivers and multiple times they have straight up tackled pass rushers getting to Mahomes. Gonna be a long day for cincy
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Looks like KC has already punched their ticket in.

Yeah I agree on the refs screwing the Bengals in their previous redzone trip but so far, CIN's defense is getting no pressure on Mahomes and is getting shredded. The offense also looks meh so far which is not a good formula for the way this Bengals team is built.

Looks like the Bengals got the memo. You can hold and interfere on defense all you want and rarely get called by the refs today lol

So glad KC doesn't have an easy path to the Superbowl this year. Teams are figuring them out and giving Mahomes all sorts of trouble
