You can say he sucks and he didn't get playing time, but he played behind 1) Jordan Adams who was a stud college player and will probably not translate to the NBA but can fill it up in college 2) Kyle Anderson- college match up nightmare who has to see the floor because of his size and 3) the coaches son who was being groomed as the PG of the future cause he would stay all 4 years. I don't think that's a knock on Lavine as much as it's evidence he wasn't given an opportunity to show his skill set. I also remember he wasn't very highly touted coming out of high school and I'll take a chance on a freakishly athletic guard with a chip on his shoulder and the simple desire of getting an opportunity to play.
