Woah, Indy trading #7 to Washington? I wonder if it's at all involved with our KP deal?

EDIT: Doesn't seem connected.

Probably not.  They’re getting two extra seconds, but the Wizards have acquired about 12 since they started trading at the deadline, so the odds that it’s #35 is relatively low.

So Washington is getting Coulibaly. An athletic defender with a basic offensive game & upside. Isn't that what Avdija is? Or was depending on whether you still think he has upside.

I think the trade isn't official yet so instead of the Celtics making the pick, the Grizzlies are making it on their behalf.

That's my guess.

Jarace Walker is a nice pickup for Indiana. A bulky forward like him is a good match for Myles Turner. Lets them switch M Turner on and off defending the big / defending a wing. Allows Turner to roam on defense like Horford allows Timelord to roam.

Good glue guy.

Dallas got off Bertans by moving back 2 spots. Interesting OKC did that
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

OKC taking on Bertans contract to move up 2 spots to take another point guard? Disgusting.

Wait - so Dallas just gave up the 10 pick just to drop Bertans, did I hear that right? Who do they have their eyes on this summer to try and get space for - Middleton now?

Taylor Hendricks is a fun fit next to Markkanen. Those two can switch back and forth between the two forward positions picking the matchups they want on defense. Feels like they may be envisioning Taylor Hendricks as a Jerami Grant type combo forward.

F - Taylor Hendricks
F - Markkanen, Olynyk
C - Kessler

That is a fun frontcourt. Lot of size and length. Lot of shooting. Versatile group.
