Dude its all over the news, you don't need a link.

I think for a lot of us, this is our news, sadly =) - I actually heard it here first

Agreed.  CelticsBlog is my home page so when I saw it here it was the first I had seen it.  Links are common on news threads and are very helpful.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

i was never a fan of his, and thought him and all his kings of comedy were whatever the opposite of funny is, but this is very sad news. it is awful to see someone pass away at such a young age. RIP, Bernie Mac.

Yes, I posted it on Realgm Celtics forum also. Again, my fellow celtics fans post there as well. If there was no ill intent, then my bad. I thought you were trying to flame me for posting the news with a link, which seems that a lot of people appreciated. Correct, we are all friends and the bottom line is it was a sad day today for fans of the Macman.

I've read some reports that he didn't die, in fact, I've heard he's been healing quite well from pneumonia.

Mainevent you are so right about Bernie Mac being an icon...sad to see one of the greats pass on at such an early age (50)..

Are there B-level icons?  He ranks right behind Bob Sagat on my comedy rankings.

He was in my 'small doses' catatgory...like in the Oceans' movies.  Give him 10 lines in a supporting role and his annoying tendancies were almost entertaining....almost.

The WB will have one less terrible sitcom, there will be one less staight to DVD movie made, and there will be an all day Bernie Mac movie marathon on BET...

<-------------The exit is this way, Bernie.
RIP

wow dude youre ALL heart. i think simply saying "good riddance" wouldve been much shorter and to your point.

anyways thats a [dang] shame. loved his work on def comedy jam the ocean movies and as a previous poster said that hilarious scene at the dinner table in House Party 3.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

To quote Mac " You don't understand..I ain't scared of ya'll Mutha F@*k#rs"
He will be missed, my favorite Mac movie moment , although the movie was garbage, was House Party 3 when he played the uncle and said one of my favoite life quotes, "If they can't take a joke..F em', F em' against the wall" The man could make me laugh :)

House Party 3 was great.  And btw, you butchered the quote.

R.I.P. Bernie Mac

I guess we'll find out if a bunch of "unreleased" "new" Mac "material"  amazingly in touch with current events comes out ala a certain "dead" dirtbag rapper.

Mac has no motive and has too much character to pull that off.

RIP, Bernie.  You were a funny dude.

I was just watching Friday last week and totally forgot that he was in it.  I loved him in the Ocean's movies.

RIP Bernie.

My Bad, I didn't think there were many House Party aficionados out there ;D

The real quote..."The point I'm trying to tell you son is be yourself, if people don't like you after you're being yourself F EM', F'EM up against the wall with handcuffs on and crazy glue on their lips...thats all you do"

Now that IS the official B Mac quote CelticsWhat35  ;)p.s. Is 35 for Reggie?
