They’re about to have 16 points and we’ve gift-wrapped 12 of them through turnovers and failure to secure loose balls.  I know this is Houston but pick up the effort just a little.

I know the answer (no Timelord), but it is concerning that we can't seem to grab a lot of rebounds and as a result leaking second chance points or possessions. That's going to have to improve especially in close games late against good teams. I'd argue that was also a big issue for us in our losing streak against BKN, NY and CLE last week

Still no GWill in the rotation thus far.

Starting to think the rebounding issues are part of it. Griffin seems like a much better rebounder than GWill, and with Timelord out that's even more important for us.

It definitely played a part.  another common factor between those streak and tonight, bricking a lot of 3's and turning over the ball

Yeah I was about to say. Seems telling that Griffin is out there and not GWill. I wonder if they are lowkey giving Grant a few games off and letting him collect himself mentally + letting him heal his shoulder a bit (he has been dealing with a shoulder strain)

Idk if it's because the Rockets unis have some green, but as I'm watching the online stream and they are showing the commercial breaks, there's a lot of green in the stands lol

Just an awful quarter by the C's.  Fortunate to be down just 2.

Tatum's passing is good tonight, at least. He's had numerous good finds for buckets.

What exactly does Smart bring to the table right now that White doesn't?? White should be playing more

very underwhelming first quarter.  C's screwing around on offense chucking 3's instead of driving to the basket which was much more successful
