It’s game seven of the NBA Finals. You are down one point with seconds to go. Who do you want taking the final shot for your team: The 6X NBA Finals MVP who’s 6-0 in the Finals, or the guy who’s 4-6 in the Finals?

By the way, 10X scoring champion is ten times more scoring titles than a single scoring title in 2008. The former happened when hand-checking was still legal (does anybody seriously doubt MJ would own the all-time scoring record forever had he played in an era without hand-checking?)

And for us lovers of defense, in case you have forgotten how elite MJ was on D: 9X NBA all-defensive player, 3X leader in steals and the only shooting guard to win Defensive Player of the Year in the last 34 years? The comp is 5X NBA all-defensive player, no steals leader titles, no DPOY accolades…

The time to catch up on accolades is pretty much over, and he’s never been above 50% in his Finals record, let alone undefeated at 6-0 like MJ…

I rest my case, your Honor.

Yeah, I would definitely take Magic over Jordan. You have to build your team around Jordan but Magic can fit in with any team same as Bird.

should have been a Bias/Reggie led C's against a Jordan/Pippen led Bulls.  C's have those 2 and I'm not so sure the Pistons and Bulls win their title in the late 80's and 90's or even the Lakers winning back to back in the late 80's either.  C's did have Reggie but adding Bias, at his anticipated skill level, would have made a huge difference

I'd put also Bernard King over Jordan if he could've ever been healthy. I also put Oscar over Jordan. I'm not the biggest Jordan fan. He was the biggest selling NBA product but he was also the first guy to get away with traveling and palming and pushing guys out of his way without getting called for it.

Reggie would have blocked Jordan's shot and Bias would have scored.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

That is an astonishing take

Wilt second? Not even close. Could have been the best all-time, but didn't have the will that Russ, Jordan, Bird, Magic, Lebron, and a host of other elite talents had. The most single-minded stat chaser I've seen among the elites. 100-point game and led the NBA in assists, but only had two championships despite playing with a lot of stars on his teams.
