I think that was the safest pick for Orlando. Smart move, Imo.

Really difficult to differentiate any of the top 3 prospects from our position. If ORL decided that Banchero was their top choice and best fit, then it's hard to argue.

OKC stuck with their guy Holmgren at 2. Looks like HOU is going Smith.

Just feel like Banchero already has an NBA body. 6’10”, 250lbs and he’s strong. The other two, especially Holmgren, have a lot of developing/filling out to do physically. I don’t know how Chet can be 7’+ and only weigh 190lbs. That’s nuts.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

John Gambadoro: Knicks have offered Evan Fournier’s contract into an exception that Boston has in order to free up enough space to sign Jalen Brunson.

Fournier and 11?  If we had Fournier would we have beaten the GSW.  I'm not do sure.
There's no way New York is dumb enough to give up 11 just to dump Fournier... is there?

So,the two teams (CHA and NY)  that pried away our free agents are having buyer’s remorse now? That’s just crazy.

Is Banchero any good?

How similar is he to John Collins?
Just with less jump-shooting.
Much better passer than Collins. Also better dribbler by quite a margin. More athletic Julius Randle type offensive player

How similar is Banchero to Michael Beasley?
Very similar. No idea if the mentality is similar though

Reminds me of the Patriots. Guys look great under Bill, get big money offers elsewhere, and then struggle.

I like the look of Chet Holmgren = size, skills, agility.

I don't know how his weight will play out but I like the game. A worthwhile gamble with that tantalizing mix of talent.

Reminds me a little of Thon Maker and Thon not being able to put on enough heft to battle in the paint but Chet is much more skilled than Thon. If Thon had Chet's skills, I think he could have overcome the weight disadvantage.

Jabari si Houston’s replacement for Wood? I think this is a great turnout for the Rockets.

Three with the Nets and Kyrie, and 4 when you remember the Sixers gave up a 1st to move Horford.

Of course, we had buyer’s remorse on Kemba as well.

Why did Portland keep that pick… Aren’t they trying to win now with Lillard? Dudes going to be 32 in a few weeks. The window is not big.

Is Banchero good enough to be like Blake Griffin?
