With Smart out DWhite needs to look to be aggressive and score the ball.  0 points in game 3 because he was only driving to pass, and had minimal impact in game 1.  Time for him to step the heck up.

I’m less worried about him scoring the ball and more concerned with him facilitating the play and dictating our tempo, and making sure we are connected defensively. We have players that should be able to score the ball, if he does great but he needs to run our offense and make sure he keeps us solid defensively.

Miami knows that he typically drives to pass and they defend him accordingly.  If he has an open driving lane and a shot he has to take it.  If he's not a threat then he's hurting our team offensively and it puts that much more pressure on the Jays.  I'm guessing they're also willing to give up 3's to White since he hasn't been knocking them down consistently.

agreed.  White needs to shoot when he's open in the lane or within 15 feet.  if all he does is pass, Miami will play him for the pass and he becomes much less effective

I’m right up there with the most positive of Celtics fans, but I just don’t have a good gut feeling about this one.  I’ve been very confident about them bouncing back after each loss on this run - no matter how gut wrenching, but that last game really hit me wrong.  Not even so much that came out flat and went down big.  More so that they came all the way back and couldn’t figure out a way to win a game they needed to win.

I feel like they should definitely win tonight, and I’ll be rooting my ass off from my easy chair, but I just don’t know what to expect.  Hopefully Tatum responds again.

Go Celts!
