Thanks for all the amazing and wonderful memories and Superbowl wins.

My favorite memories of Tom Brady-
2001 vs Rams
28-3
All Superbowl wins
Seahawks 2014
Two-Touchdown comeback vs Baltimore Ravens 2014
2007 Perfect Season
24-0 comeback vs Denver 2013
Duels against Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Big Ben, Phillip Rivers, Drew Brees
We're Onto Cincinnati
Silencing Arrowhead in 2018 playoffs

...there's so much memories. The realest and the GOAT.

So, in summary.

All-time pass yards leader.
All-time pass completions leader.
All-time pass touchdowns leader.
=29th in interceptions thrown, career ratio of 3.07 TD to 1 INT.
Most SuperBowl wins ever.
Most SuperBowl MVPs ever.
Most QB wins ever.
Most playoff wins ever.
Most playoff yards and TDs ever.

Not a bad resume. Sad to see him go out when, had Tampa Bay been healthy and distraction-free, I reckon they could have won it all, but nonetheless the greatest to ever do it. Hard to imagine anyone ever topping his career.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I am SHOCKED. I never figured he'd let himself go out on anything but a title.

The wife always has the last say.

Yup, her and that piece of crap, snake oil salesman, Guerrero were the reasons he left here.

I liked Bridget much better.

I'm glad. Good to see him go out at the top of his game still. I'm glad he didn't end up with some crippling injury. Nothing more for him to do.

On the one hand I won't truly believe he's retired until I hear him say it himself, but on the other hand this just feels like when Gordon Hayward signed with us. Where he wants to be the one to make the announcement, and on his terms, not to have it leaked.

It's hard for me to imagine football without him; I literally can't remember a time when he wasn't in the NFL.
I'm bitter.

There's a lot of reports now that Brady actually hasn't made his decision. Maybe it is a premature report by Schefter and ESPN, or possibly Brady meant to announce it in February but it was leaked earlier. Or Brady actually still hasn't decided at all and bad info was leaked.

Either way, getting some Gordon Hayward FA vibes here lol

Would totally be a Tom Brady move to twist it around and say "April Fool's!" And give ESPN the middle finger and play one more year.

No mention of the Patriots in his announcement at all. Guess we know what he thinks about N.E.

Yeah, a bit weird he thanked Tampa Bay fans, coaches, teammates, staff, etc. but nothing about the Pats but I guess it would be equally weird if in this statement, he thanked Bill Belichick or Kraft.  I suspect that will all come in due course.  At least Kraft and the Patriots organization in general.

As a Patriots fan, what more can you ask for from a player.  20 years of excellence, championships, character, I don't see how it could have been any better.

I find it so silly to deny reports and then 5 minutes later do this.

He thanked the Patriots nation in his IG story and reposted Kraft's message.

Giselle must have given him an ultimatum. Tom’s such a fierce competitor and to go out like that after an MVP caliber season... Manning, Brees, and Rothlisberger all played until the wheels fell off. Never imagined that Tom wouldn’t do the same.
