well Horford only got 4 shots in 3 quarters tonight.
That just isn't enough.  That is something we can fix.

Jaylen got into early foul trouble guarding lebron.
That can be fixed, start Morris on him.  Bring Jaylen onto him later as we did in the other games.
It can’t be fixed unless we bench brown for Morris.  And it’s exactly how we started game 2.

Jaylen didn't start on James in game 2.
I have the game recorded.  100% he started on James.  That’s the only option when Clev goes big.

Okay, so I just went back and fast forwarded through the game, because I was recalling the same thing about Morris guarding James MUCH more than Brown.

Technically, droop is right - Jaylen did in fact start guarding James. So my apologies there.

However, that literally only lasted 2-3 possessions, and after those possessions Morris guarded him the rest of the way when both Morris and Brown were in. Morris even started the second half on James instead of Brown.

So, yes, technically he did start on him, but the point of our argument is the same - Morris has been much better on James (leading to our defense being much better overall allowing others to be shut down) and has largely been the primary defender on James, even in game 2.

Why it has changed to Brown being the primary defender on James and not Morris is still in question and an error by the coaching staff. All that did was put Brown in foul trouble and essentially take him out of the rest of the game mentally.
Yes, and my point stays the same.  Who does brown guard when they go big?  I recall pretty much exactly what you just said.  So when Morris started guarding Lebron, who was guarding love and Thompson?  If we keep Morris on Lebron, then they’re going to have a mismatch somewhere.

I think we gave the great Tyron Lue too much time to game plan.  ::) ??? :D

It might be a bit different, but if Cleveland is going to go big, why not also go big? Why not go Brown, Tatum, Morris, Horford, and Baynes in the starting lineup?

Rozier has been bad on the road anyways, and Rozier isn't really necessary to set-up and initiate the offense, as he's not really the traditional point guard type. I think Tatum and Horford can do enough of the ball-handling and initiating the offense for it to work, and it'd give us much, much more size on the perimeter and allow us to match-up better with their starting lineup. We'd also have several mismatches to exploit offensively.

While I agree with starting Baynes, you can't have Brown as a point guard in any setting, imo. Dude can't bring the ball up, let alone under pressure. That would be awful, lol ;D.

No, I'd rather put Morris on the bench, instead.

Hard to imagine the Cavs continue to shoot the three as well as they did today.

So many guys we rely on to win games simply didn’t show up...

Take this tape and throw it in the garbage. Other than giving us some motivation to be better on Monday, no need to watch that again it was so poor.

Honestly, I really hope that they watch nothing but that carnage in the period from now until Game 4.

Brown was taken out right from the start by the refs.

Morris and Rozier did not look to get Horford any shots at all in the 1st quarter.

Rozier played poorly and selfishly tonight. Him and Morris killed us.

Am I the only one nervous as hell about this game? We pretty much dominated the Cavs 2 games in a row. The media is hyping us up. It’ll be extremely hard to beat them 3x in a row especially on their home court where you know they are getting the favorable whistle. I feel like we’re going to get blown out, just a gut feeling.
Sadly I saw this coming  >:(

I’m not too worried though they need to attack and be aggressive. I don’t think they attacked the rim in the first quarter at all.

Next game is must-win. We win it we are 3-1 going back into Boston for game 5. That’s momentum that will make the Cavs nervous

Cavs were worn out and DOA after game two.

Nba puts in a 3 day rest between games. Cavs get much needed rest and time to adjust

Just a huge momentum swing
